Guest guest
Belinda doesn't sell dairy products as it is illegal to do so. I believe this woman called me. I told her to call me again when she had a phone number I could give to folks with goats in her area. She's not done that yet. If you have her number, and she's OK with you giving it out, let me have it and I'll try to help her out some. Belinda Hey thanks Sara, She has thought about shipping the milk frozen but she's not sure. Belinda is not selling raw milk, but at Peaceful Pastures is--for pet consumption. Also, Kim Cole at West Wind Farms is as well--for pet consumption. I have directed her to these ladies and I think this is the route she needs to take as well as a temporary fix. I will tell her that when she calls again (groan.)
Guest guest
I'd tell her to drive out to organic, grassfed dairy operations. Go up to the farmer and ask. If nothing else, this will give her something to do and keep her away from the phone (unless she has a cell, then you're doomed!) Many farmers will provide raw milk but will not "advertise." Maybe this lady would consider ordering milk from Belinda, PeacefulPastures, cuz she ships (especially to tide her over until she finds a regular source). Also maybe the lady doesn't know (or forgot) that unhomogenized milk is slightly better than pasteurized, homogenized milk. Sara raw milk source in Memphis TN Hey all,Does anyone on this list know anyone at all who is a source for raw milk in the Memphis TN area? I have a lady who is DESPERATE and calling me a lot and whining and crying about not being able to find a source there. She is accustomed to getting 5 gallons a week from the place she came from and now to go with none is too much for her. She is clingy and miserable and ...well...it's getting to me. I don't live in Memphis (I'm closer to Nashville) and there is not a WAPF chapter there and so I can't help her too much. She claims to have tried all my ideas for finding sources and they haven't worked. Just throwing this out there if anyone can help. Thanks! D.PLEASE BE KIND AND TRIM YOUR POSTS WHEN REPLYING! Guest guest
You bet Belinda, it is illegal to do so for human consumption. And I understand you are not doing that. Anyway, the last number I have on her is . Hope it still works. Good of you to help her. bilherbs@... wrote: Belinda doesn't sell dairy products as it is illegal to do so.
