Also, use different camera angles to show form, like he does on the live instructional (e.g., he uses an overhead camera). Perhaps he could do what Kathy does on her kickboxing tape and show a closeup of an instructor doing the move correctly in the bottom corner of the screen, while another camera is showing the whole class. My only problem with tae-bo tv is the music. I really wish it had words....there is nothing like a fun soundtrack. And, sometimes he totally forgets to stretch at all (I hate it when that happens...LOL)! And I agree with the suggestion about having one of the instructors staying at a slower pace to show the correct way to modify. A prime example of that is the workout where TQ had to walk off the set because she couldn't go on. It would have been much bette if she had just walked it out or slowed the tempo down to show that everyone gets tired sometimes and has an off day! And Spirutein banana orange cream...this is really good mixed with ice cold soy milk. After a workout I drink a protein shake with flax oil and soymilk. -who is really glad you asked about healthy snacks so I didn't have to admit to the chocolate covered peanut butter graham crackers...opppsss. I think you should be able to find it at the bigger stores, if not ask them to start stocking it. The Spirutein Banana Orange Creme is a protein mix, so I just put it in a heavy glass mug with the soy milk and mix it in there with one beater in my hand mixer...saves me from cleaning the blender. You can get the Spirutein at natural foods or health food stores. Some of them have the individual packets so you can try them before you buy a whole can. Hope this helps. I'll have to try the peanut butter on a banana. Sounds good!
Guest guest
Weird? Also if I do not Tae-Bo in the morning, it is a real strain to get into it later in the day for me. To make my mind and body more willing, I sometimes actually plan how I'll approach a work-out beforehand, depending on my mood and how my body feels. Either slower with full range of motion like Tai Chi for stretching or very intense contractions like weight training or alittle faster with powerful movements using the bag or 's speed with the minimizing movements for just cardio. has shown all of these approaches in parts of various work-outs and they can add variety just like different combos. Barb who believes in modification for fun, results, and safety cuz exercising my mind as well as my body keeps me interested
Guest guest
I haven't been exercising long enough for it to get boring. (which is evident by my pants size) HEE*HEE!
