Guest guest
I am going to do elemental Analysis urine test ( 24 hours ) from Great Smokies this weekend. I have to give my son DMSA 250g. My son has a history of kidney problem which is mostly resolved but I am little scared of using it. I did tell our doctor my concern, but you guys know better. What do you think?? Is this a low enough dosage to use for 75 pounds boy? Mariko Seems ok if you divide it into doses of every 4 hours. Bernie
Guest guest
It could be that the amount of DMSA is not enough. You can work up to 200mg for a 40 pound child. We see good things everytime we give our child 200mg .... this dose was reccommended by our Dr. and we haven't seen anything negative at all. KELLY LEIGH When you talk about dose you need to give the timing as well. This can be very confusing unless you also give timing. every 4 hours? 8?? per day?? Guest guest
Surely you mean 200mg a day (25mg a dose) and not every 4 hours?!!? Guest guest
Dear all; I am new to the group but I really appreciate all of your sharings. Thanks. I have an 8 years old autistic son with high level of mercury. Dr. Megson gives him DMSA500mg/Glut250mg suppository for chelation. He has it every night before bed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday every other week. The night he has the suppository, he is disturbed and can't sleep, he wakes up 3, 4 times during the night. I don't know if the dose is too high or it is the side effect of DMSA. From your recent sharings, I haven't seen people having that high dose of DMSA like that. Any advise? Thanks. Guest guest
Please, please stop this extremely harmful chelation protocol immediately! This doctor has NO IDEA what he is doing when it comes to chelation or chemistry. DMSA MUST be given according to its half-life, i.e. every 4 hours thoughout the day and night, for at least 3 days, followed by 4 days of rest. The MAXIMUM starting dose is 1/8mg per pound. If you do not follow this, mercury will be redistributed to his brain and organs. You are already seeing the results of this in his agitation. Please join the frequent-dose-chelation group and read the files and FAQs there. Guest guest
This person is correct. I tried a protocol with my son like this and it caused all kinds of problems. Use Andy Cutlers chelation protocol. It makes all the sense in the world if you read how he came up with this and why. I wish I never chelated my son the other way but I am now doing the Cutler protocol and after 3 rounds have seen very small but improv ements > > > > Dear all; > > > > I am new to the group but I really appreciate all of your sharings. > > Thanks. > > I have an 8 years old autistic son with high level of mercury.
