Does anyone take anti biotics to try and fight off anything thats lurking in

your blood and contributing to your condition? I'm hoping to start them next

year. I would love to hear peoples experiences of using them. thanks

I have found the cf and fm plus my copd has comprised my immune system to

some extent. I only take antibiotics when absolutely necessary. I believe we

are inundated with antibiotics through our feed sources though we buy free

range drug free local meats. I'm afraid of building immunity to antibiotics

so I take only when needed! I do get the flu and pneumonia shot as

recommended by my Dr. I did have a bout with pneumonia earlier in the fall

and took antibiotics. Sometimes I think we get carried away with antibiotic

soaps etc as they tend to upset the balance of natural antibiotics! I

believe antibiotics have a place in treatment of infection yet not in

prevention!
