Guest guest
I had the same thought, but I have to trust that the grandma knows what she's talking about. She's raised 6 kids of her own, and is now raising her two grandchildren who are drug babies. Is it too young? What are your suggestions? > > > > Have you trained children as young as two? Guest guest
LENS would be a better bet for a 2 year old. There is no "learning" that the brain has to accomplish, and only 4 seconds of sitting still. Of course, I don't know if you have a LENS provider nearby...you can check www.ochslabs.com Re: training 2 yr old I had the same thought, but I have to trust that the grandma knowswhat she's talking about. Guest guest
My two year old wants to do NFB when she sees her 5 year old brother doing it every day, and the videos capture her attention for short periods of time - sometimes as long as 15 minutes. I put the electrode at Cz and train down 2 to 6 Hz. That way, I don't have to bother with finding the right reward frequency. But then again, she's my daughter, not a patient, and I haven't tried to modify any behavior. I'm just introducing her to it at her own pace, doing something that's fun, and when she wants to stop, I stop. I also give out smarties candy after every 5 minute break, which is popular. Guest guest
Haven't tried NF on a 2 year old, but I have had great results teaching a 3 y.o. prone to distress anger episodes to find how to be at peace with the word " shhhh " repeated quietly as she used the music box on the opening practice of Wild Divine's Wisdom Quest. Ever since she has been able to come to a quiet mind using a soft shhhh which worked on her out breath. The music is captivating for all ages. FWIW, Aliceann -- training 2 yr old Have you trained children as young as two? If they are really fidgety And angry, how do you find the SMR?... Or I should say, what might be A good guess to start?
