Guest guest
Content of previous message edited. Tina, I was saddened to read your post and to read that you are in so much pain and that for one you cover it up from your family and two you won't take anything for your pain that might help you be out of pain. May I ask why? Did you have a problem with narcotic medications before? If not I don't see why with all that you have been through with the falling down the stairs, the surgery, headaches, etc. take medication. Even if it means taking a opiate type medication such as the Lortabs that you were on before. If they helped you before why did you stop and why not take them again? Yes, there are many other things you can do to. What other Dr's have you seen? Did they recommend any alternative therapy? Such as physical therapy or a chiropracter? Right now I'm reading books on acupressure and meditation. I read everything I can get my hands on. But I also take meds to help me get through my pain. I wouldn't be able to function if I didn't. Although my family doesn't help much with the fact that I have chronic pain I think it is important that they know. I read alot about how it may make the difference in one's life with the support of one's family. Maybe you should think about talking to a close family member about what you go through every day. It might make you feel better knowing you can talk to someone. Who knows they may have suggestions or advise for you or even be secretley be in pain themselves. These are just might my thoughts. If you would like to know more about the alternative therapy that I have tried or would just like to talk you can always E-mail me anytime. I hope you find away of relieving your pain. It sounds like you have a willing Dr. that will help you. So that is a good start. Good Luck. Love, Ellen eascusa@... Guest guest
, Verify benefits with CIGNA Dental how often they will allow bite wing exam? Most dental plan allows at least once a year. Mine allows every 6 months. If there is a question of abscess, they can do another X-ray. Austria Specialty Contracting Methodist Health System 1441 North Beckley Avenue Dallas,Texas 75203 Phone: Fax: (unknown) I have a patient that was admitted for a living related kidney transplant and ended up not having the transplant and had a pacemaker placed instead. Should the inpt admit be written off to the cost report or should it be billed to the insurance company. Any comments would be appreciated. Guest guest
We find it much easier and expeditious to have the hospital Radiology Dept. do a panogram of the jaw and have that read for dental clearance. We found that people tend to put off going to the dentist as long as possible, and it was delaying listing our patients. (The sooner they're listed, the sooner they can be transplanted.) Is anyone else doing this??? Fred L. Guest guest
Hi Maggie Wilbert; I, too, have/had basal cell carcinoma. Some were frozen some were cut out .Mine were on head, face and I have the scars to prove it :>). The last flare up was on the side of my head, at the end of a surgery scar, about 3/8 inch from my left eye. I used a mixture of 50/50 99.9DMSO and CS homemade at about 20ppm, applied with a Q-tip nightly. I also used the godzilla unit reversing polarity every 5mins. with the electrodes on each side of the area. It seemed like it took forever, but, one day I realized they were gone! That was many months ago. I still look ----- and they are still gone. If you decide to try the CS/DMSO mixture be careful to not get it IN the eye. For me it itched like crazy. I wish you well; Bruce A. Margaret Wilbert wrote: > > I'm wondering if you could give me some direction.
