Guest guest
I took Savella also and it worked best for my pain but I gained too much weight from it. > > Hello, > I was on savella and hated it. the side effects were awful. Particularly it inspired an awful rage in me. Sad thing is it worked best for my pain. > > > Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile > > hey all.. > > hey all, > hope everyone had a good weekend, i tend to 'lurk', but i really do enjoy reading the posts.. > i've noticed people have a hard time believe i have fibro/pain, and, my appearance has something to do with it, apparently, bc i don't 'look sick', am back on gabapentin..was on lyrica, and gabapentin, works best for me, i hear a lot about LDN, and savella..is anyone here on them?? were the side effects very hard in the beginning?? >
Guest guest
I had a very serious reaction to Savella - first a rash on the insides of my arms and thighs, then severe numbness and tingling in my hands, feet, arms and legs to the point where my handwriting became illegible and it started to all get pretty scary. It did nothing for my pain. I discontinued it and the symptoms cleared up. But that's just my experience and I am sure it won't have that effect on everyone. Blessings, Re: hey all.. Guest guest
I've been on Savella for about 1 1/2 years now. It is a hard drug to start - lots of nausea. It has helped significantly with the pain and more importantly I've been able to have better sleep - more deep sleep. It's different for everyone but I think it's worth a try - just be aware of how it's affecting you. Good luck - Anne > > I had a very serious reaction to Savella - first a rash on the insides of my arms and thighs, then severe numbness and tingling in my hands, feet, arms and legs to the point where my handwriting became illegible and it started to all get pretty scary. Guest guest
Both of these reactions are strange for me to hear. My reaction to Sevella was 200% positive. Not only did it help my pain tramendously, it helped me to lose weight. When I asked the doctor she said that yes, weight loss is a little-known side effect of Savella. I think Stepahie's allergic reaction is unfortunate, but I kind of want to question Cloe's weight gain - are you sure the weight gain was from the Savella, Chloe? Guest guest
I am sure my weight gain was savella. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Re: hey all.. Guest guest
Hi Beth and all, I will add that I am also on Wellbutrin, and part of the side effects I had may possibly be attributable to Serotonin Syndrome, which is something to be aware of if you are also on another SSRI and want to take Savella. Nobody warned me about it, but I started researching it when I started having a bad reaction and it seemed to fit my symptoms.
