Steve,

Sounds like you will be well ahead of most the other folks at the Level 1 workshop, so don't worry too much about not being up to speed. I've attached (in case you don't already have it) a file from Level 1 about hookups. It is a lot easier to learn the process working on someone elses head first. Then you can move to putting them on yourself.

You may bought the supply package 1, which includes 5 electrodes for use with disposables. The ActivEEG electrodes look a lot like yours, but they have the processor in each electrode head and they plug into a box for power. You use the blue circular neurotrodes (which you can use many times) with paste over sites with hair. The self-adhesive disposables are for use behind the years (for references) or on the back of the neck or forehead (for ground). You will need to prep (with the NuPrep) each site before placing the electrodes using the Ten/20 paste.

See you soon.

Pete

Hi Pete,I believe I do have ActiveEEG electtrodes, a few packets I receivedhad 60 " mini-packets " per bag and then there were others containing 30each. They came ready to go but the paste seemed a bit dry and patchy

on the surface, I've only opened one packet so I don't know if that'sthe norm. Regardless, I'm just trying to get a feel for things at thispoint and trying to prep myself for the workshop later this month.

I wouldn't have bothered to take this step yet but I've started the BEManual/Tutorial and the end of lesson 1 requires a reading be sent into the instructor. I was surprised by this since the topic had not

been discussed prior in the lesson. The instructions to " hook myselfup " were the first indication that the tutorial is designed forestablished practitioners who are new only to BE. I might try skipping

stuff like this and just skim all lessons on this first go round. Thanks for the tips- Steve
