My 5 year old is also one of the lucky ones, he swallows the pills.

Lukas is a different

matter. He thinks all or his supplements need to be crushed up, mixed

and given with

a medicine dropper.

For the Butyrate I use Black Elderberry Concentrate to mix it in. I do

keep the whole

bottle of Butyrate in the freezer which lessens the taste and smell.

Holly's right, the

odor doesn't linger.

Another supplement I have increases the production of short-chain

fatty acids

Butyrate. A short description of the product from Thorne Research:

**ARABINEX™

Arabinogalactan, a naturally occurring polysaccharide extracted from

the Larch tree,

is a natural phytochemical providing a number of immunological

properties.

Arabinex's total water solubility and mildly sweet taste make it an

excellent choice for

pediatric use.**
