soap....Adeps Suillus .it really sounds much better than LARD!!

EU Trivial Names

In the EU, " trivial " names are listed in the EU Cosmetic Ingredient

Inventory. These names represent common names that should be easily

recognized by consumers in the

EU where eleven different languages are spoken. The trivial names are based

primarily on designations taken from the European Pharmacopoeia.

As you may know, Health Canada has proposed using EU trivial names for

ingredient declaration. Thanks to one of the Health Canada's webpages, here
