Her 26 page 8 1/2 x 11 book 'The Effects of Light on the Menstrual Cycle: Also Infertility, Clinical Observations' is very interesting. Hence the " myth " of the 28 day cycle. It's only a myth because of industrialization and the rise of the nuclear family. Our bodies are wired to the moon and the sun (circadian rhythm being another example). It's rare for modern women to cycle with the moon, but it's not impossible, especially in a rural setting. It could also be a coincidence. Incidentally, you can help women change their cycles using manipulations of light & dark in the bedroom.For more info, see Singer's book, The Garden Of Fertility. The effect of light on cycles was first explored in Lunaception, by Louise Lacey, and Joy DeFelice wrote a booklet about it, on which I don't see a date.
