Hey Everyone,

Hi Mel, good to hear from you again.....

Just thought I would give you a bit

of an update.

I still have no restriction, on the

plus side I have no heartburn or reflux either, I am loving that!

I had the barium swallow and it showed

my band has NOT slipped. The Dr put in half a mil and I had some restriction

(not much)

but then back to none, the next day.

Next week I am off for another XRAY.

I am having a leak test done.

The doctor said that he will have to operate,

but we have to go through this process so that we can see what surgery

will need to be done, so it's

just a bit of a waiting game at the moment,

which is so frightening cause I am gaining weight and fast!

I so badly want my band back!!!!

Hope you are all well

packed most of it back on. I mean out of 6 of us that hit goal weight 5

have put on 25-35kg raising my suspecision that the band has a 18mth

period for weight loss and then your pretty much on your own. Alot of

talk is surrounding the sleeve as being a better long term option. Its

very scary the thought of putting back on that weight. Luckly for me I

am always on a diet so dont really put on more than a couple of kg here

and there.

Hi Everyone,

Well I have had all the scans now, and the last one showed a leak! So I see the

Dr on Wednesday next week where, I am guessing from what we have discussed, that

he will remove the band and put in a new one.

I can not wait as I am putting on weight so quickly (and that's trying to be

careful) I can NOT wait to be banded again. I HATE being without it.

Regards

Fi
