Hi K

I reckon they are all a waste of money.  I am going to a witch doctor over at Epping from time to time... and basically it is what we eat and exercise.  It is so damned hard if you have trouble with exercise.  The diet is basically as follows.

Breakfast:  1 egg, poached, boiled, scrambled or dry fried.  One weetbix made with skim or 1 sachet of oats with water or skim

Morning tea:  one piece of fruit, not banana or grapes

Lunch:  Main meal of the day.  One portion of protien about 150gms, served with salad, veges or whatever you want, but it really should only fit on a side plate.  Brown rice is acceptable to serve with your protien portion.  Boring as hell really.

Afternoon tea:  one piece of fruit, not banana or grapes

Dinner:  Must be eaten before pm.  Vegetable soup that you make.

No alcohol... no sugar,  no cheese.

It is as boring as batshit really, and of course there is no way I stick to it (Im sitting drinking champagne as I write this).

You must walk 45 minutes per day FAST.

She also once a week gives you a lymphatic drainage with a squeezy machine and then a good dose of acupuncture.

She also supplies what I call Chinese Speed capsules.  I am yet to take one of those as I am not sure how they might interact with my other meds.  The fact that I cannot take them to Singapore with me is a bit of a worry

Anyway... two friends have both lost around the 20 kilo mark.  They have followed it most of the time and had a few breakouts along the way - who wouldn't.  I am trying to follow the rules as much as possible, but here it is 6pm and there is no sign of dinner anywhere.

I hope this helps... but seriously, don't waste  money on dodgy stuff that swells in your stomach, not ideal when you have a band.

Mel

Hi Dreamette I did get it checked - had to be 'loosened' as I could not eat and was just vomitting ev thing up. Even now its tough to get things down - but what happens is I end up eating easy foods.

I have doen the 3 days detox to 90% and scale has moved 2kgs so progress - Eureka!

Hi there

I can relate to your message, with very slow weight loss. Recently I had a fill done after ovre 12 months without seeing my Doc. What a difference that has made. Maybe you need to have your restriction checked?

I also recently started increasing my protein and often having an Atkins protein drink for lunch. Finally the scales are moving again.

In the last 8 weeks Ive lost 6kg. All along Ive been such a slow loser, so now Im wondering if I was not actually restricted enough. I really do think increasing protein helps alot. Im now 75kg with a starting weight of 100kg. So feeling good.

Good luck.
