Guest guest
robin, you sound like a very interesting person! My husband is hcv positive and has about 3 weeks left on combination therapy. Here in england 3 and 6 month treatment is the norm in my husbands case he has been on 6 month treatment. I was drawn to your introduction because of your grandsons who have adhd and one on the autistic spectrum. We have a 18yr old son who has asperger syndrome which is on the autistic spectrum, just wondered if your grandson has this as well. I understand why you say you would not have treatment but my husband had become so exhausted he was having no real quality of life. I must say a few friends of ours in england have had the treatment and suffered hardly any side effects at all so it came as quite a shock that my husbands treatment has made him so ill! I just hope it ends up with a clear hcv status in the end. I have had to really do everything for the past 6 months as he has practically slept all the time. It does make life hard as my son with aspergers needs a lot of emotional support and does not go out like most teenagers unless we take him out and has a lot of depresssive episodes. You sound very strong best wishes janet bury(england)
