Guest guest
Hi, I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with a little girl. We just received results from the amnio showing 18/20 of the cultures were chromosomally normal and 2/20 were T21. The level II ultrasound looked great and showed no markers other than one CPC. Last year we had a son who was stillborn at 31 weeks due to Trisomy 18, so unfortunately, we have some experience with trisomies. Right now we are trying to gather as much information as possible so we can be prepared when our daughter arrives. Specifically, we would like to know if amnio results correspond with the actual pheonotype. I know that how this is expressed will determine which cell lines, but just looking for any hope. Also looking for suggestions on what type of early intervention we should line up. Many thanks! Leanne
