Guest guest
Hi Jack, Welcome to Loving What Is, and I think you came to the right place. I have sometimes heard say to people when they lose or don't get what they think they want, " you have been spared. " And also things like " What I have is what I need. I know that I don't need something because I don't have it. " (not an exact quote) It's great that you have focused on Tolle and . I have discovered both of them in the past year myself. They are both teachers of truth who have helped me tremendously. As you know, when we lose something, we often lose part of our identity with it, which can be a good thing. The best advice I can give you would be to do the work on what you feel you have lost, which I suspect you may already be doing. Are you? Do a judge your neighbor worksheet on your failed relationship, as well as on your other " losses " and then inquire on them. I can say from my experience that loss, pain, and lonliness have brought me much closer to God than when I get what I want. I have suffered more this past year than maybe in my whole life, so that is why I am here as well. I am hoping to go to my first intensive with this year. Perhaps that could step it up a notch for me as well. Love > > Hello friends, > I'm a swm 34, former over achiever who has been stuck now for several > years. Guest guest
dear JAck and JEffrey, WElcome Jack. thank you good answer , It took me about 30 years to see i was spared in a lost relationship. And you can still love that person anyway forever. . In one of katies tapes i heard her say. Do you blame this person for the way your life has turned out? do you feel its her fault you lost the job? And in that situation you were spared also. IF you like your job i think that is worth more than money. DO you like your job? I always felt I should be better which i am still working on. I still have a lot of stories, And I look forward to reading advise best wishes, roslyn > > > > Hello friends, > > I'm a swm 34, former over achiever who has been stuck now for > several > > years.
