Guest guest
I have a friend whose son had an immediate reaction to the MMR. He came down with a high fever and got very sick. That was three months ago and there are still problems. He has been on three rounds of antibiotics. He is clingy and crying all the time, somewhat despondent and the fever occasionally returns. The father also said that he use to show his son picture books of animals and the boy would say the animal sounds. He has no words and no response to any of this now. There has been a definite change in this child and the parents are justifiably concerned. The boy is 15 months old and the father would like to investigate mercury poisoning. How do you do this with a child so young? He has very little hair for a hair analysis. He's also suddenly having a problem with digesting milk. I told him to take him off dairy immediately and put him on a soy or rice milk. What direction should I send this parent? He doesn't want to waste time if there is a potential problem. If you could please respond to me privately, that would be a great help. Thanks, Penny
Guest guest
They might want to try a blood test, although I don't know if it would still show up 3 months later or not. It definitely sounds like so many of the other cases out there though, and the sooner they can get it diagnosed and start treating it, then the faster his recovery will be. Kris aka@... Guest guest
Hi- I've been away for a few days. I hope this response is still helpful for them... I would start that kid on Kirkman's pro-bio gold right away to help restore his gut environment. Guest guest
Don't walk...RUN to a specialist with this child. Get them to take him off the antibiotics, dairy, and gluten!!! Send them to the groups here at . I only wish someone would have done this for me early on. Trisha Montez
