Guest guest
My roommate was on 3mg LDN from March 2004 up to August 2005 at which time she switched to 4.5mg LDN. She has done great on the LDN, has much more energy and felt much better than she ever did the two years she was on Avonex. She is not having any new symptoms but her MRI this summer showed two active lesions which her neurologist says means she is progressing. Her doctor wanted her to do steroids but she has done them in the past and refused to do any more. Now he is insisting that she do a transplant drug called Cellcept along with the LDN. My question is does anyone have any experience with this drug and especially with taking it while taking LDN? It would appear to me that Cellcept being a strong immune suppresant would counteract the effects of the LDN. I know there is a Dr. Frohman in Texas who is doing a clinical trial on MS patients with avonex and cellcept but I don't know of anyone using LDN and cellcept together. Any experience/input would be greatly appreciated. Diane
