Guest guest
I recently tried to use oxygen therapy for my severe facial pain that I have been suffering with for years. My intergrative doc gave me a prescription for it. I used it at night while I was sleeping for a month and I believe it was helping to some degree lessen the pain. The problem is I have MCS and as the month went on the tubing under my nose made a raw sore there and inside my nose was numerous sores that were bleeding. I called the company and they gave me plastic type of mask to try. The oxygen traveled up into the mask and into my nose and mouth. By now I`am so sensitive to the chemicals in the tubing my eyes are burning. I have to send the tank back to the company. I hate to give this up if its helping me but I don`t have any other idea`s as to what to do. The company doesnt offer any other methods of treatment. Can anyone relate to this? Or have any idea`s? Thanks in advance! nne
Guest guest
This may seem off topic and i have MCS so i understand the nusiance of it however have you had a sleep study with the oxygen or has a sleep study measured your oxygen because i cant figure out if your O2 is normal why you would need extra and how it would help pain and a sleep study would measure the O2 and confirm if it were at a normal level overnight..... ----- Original Message ----- From: nne I recently tried to use oxygen therapy for my severe facial pain that I have been suffering with for years.
