Guest guest
Hi folks The other day I made an enquire about Echinacea, and the reason was that after 2 weeks on it I had a new attack, completely new. I almost lost my voice, I speak with great difficulty and sound like I had a stroke. I don't know if the staff took a role to my problem, but I had to mention it. Farewell" Hi Aritsidis, Being from Iowa, where the Purple Corn Flower {Echinacea purpurea} abounds, I have found that to get the positive benefits from Echinacea, it needs to be taken in a compound with Zinc. My research suggests that the Zinc is the most beneficial, but adding the Echinacea improves both elements synergistically. Anyone else wish to weigh-in here? My daughter's family, 6 total - who resist alternative sources, were firmly convinced of this when my grand-daughter {age 12}, consistently had fewer colds and other illnesses when she became the 'guinea pig' each time something was 'going around'. She not only refused to become ill when all the others succumbed, finally the others participated and realized that I apparently knew what I was talking about. Try Zinc plus Echinacea wherever Echinacea is recommended - it comes in tasty lozenges, as well as flavored tablets. If the flowers {and perhaps the roots} are available locally, then a tea with a Zinc tablet dissolved in it works quite well too.
