Guest guest
Diane, Since her doctor is insiting that she do cellcept, I would give the doctor a full interogation. How many of his other patients are on this form of treatment? What is the outcome of this drug? what is to be expected as far as reactions and side effects? How will one know if it is working to primary effect? What if You want to stop this kind of treatment for any reason? ( Take particular attention to this answer, from experience, I have had doctors dance around this issue with a question as an answer. i.e. 'Why would you want to do that, if it is working?') Personally, if a doctor was insisting on something I had a question about.......I would most definately get a second opinion. But then, thats me. > > > > > __________________________________ - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.
Guest guest
, Thanks for the advice. We have talked her doctor into waiting and doing another MRI in December and then if it still shows active lesions at that time we told him she would consider it. Before we do anything though I think we will try to talk with Dr. Bihari. As long as she is not having any new symptoms I am really reluctant for her to start on this immune suppressing drug. Besides she has only been on 4.5mg's for a few months now and it might be that the LDN at 4.5 will halt any progression (If she is really having progression). Thanks again.
