Guest guest Posted October 21, 2005 Report Share Posted October 21, 2005 From what I have researched, there are numerous cautions regarding this, particularly if you also ingest Aspartame (diet foods) in your diet. My understanding is that this becomes L-Tyrosine (essential amino acid contained within proteins) and the Tyrosine is what then helps with mood. Taking L-Tyrosine supps may be safer.
