Yay! I found some raw milk!!!!!!! Now a few q's........

I finally located a source! And it's only 15 mins from my house! : ) I'm going to try to go and pick some up this weekend. : )

She milks the cows and chills the milk, that's it! And only $2.00 a gallon. : )

I will have to provide my own containers......... should I get some glass jars? Like big pickle jars?

Should I sterilize the jars? If so how?? : )

I'll bring a big ice chest for traveling, it's getting hot here in Louisiana. : P

I'm so excited!!!! I can't wait to drink milk again. : )

I want to do the milk diet before my surgery which is scheduled on May 4th, and during my recovery. I'm having a neck fusion due to an accident almost a year to the day.

I was thinking about getting 5-6 gallons per week......... do you all think that will be enough, too little, too much?

I won't have any wasted......... I just know my dogs will help me with any extra. ; )
