Guest guest
Taking calcium supplements is just fine BUT DO NOT let your compounding pharmacy use calcium carbonate as your filler in your LDN capsules. I've seen too many cases including my own where calcium carbonate rendered the LDN slow release and the LDN be worthless at working on helping disease. LDN MUST be fast release. Calcium carbonate does not always release slow with LDN but why take a chance and possibly some day down the road get a month to several months of LDN that is worthless due to the filler. Don't play with iffy, calcium carbonate can be iffy...use Acidophilus or lactose or Avicel or gelatin as filler choices.
Guest guest
I agree with ... the theory and remember this is only a theory is that when packed too tight the CC filler causes the LDN to become slow release. Having said that my husband with PPMS was on LDN with CC filler for two years with no issue .. it was when my Moms breast cancer appeared in her bones despite LDN .. well, that made me question the filler. I don't know for sure .. maybe she has a type of cancer that would never respond to LDN but if others expressed doubt also then maybe that filler was an issue. TO be safe I moved everyone to a filler that is not in dispute .. until we get a trial .. that is all we can do. It just makes sense to me to err on the side of safety.
