Guest guest
Do you know why she recommends flax seed oil specifically? Is it for the Omega 3's? If that's the only reason, it's better to go with fish oils. For our body to access the O-3's in flax, requires our ability to break it down well and convert it over to omega 3's. Fish oils require no conversion. If there is another reason, then ignore what I just said. As far as interfering with thyroid, I started in Lovaza, a prescription fish oil for lowering triglycerides, about 3 years ago and I think it helped my thyroid a bit. Omega's reduce inflammation, so wherever there is an effect of inflammation, it will help a little. There are also other benefits related to this inflammation reduction, such as cardiovascular improvements, and sometimes skin conditions, if they are inflammation related.
