Guest guest
My grandma's Alzheimer's is definitely improving on LDN. Tuesday night when I called her to remind her to take her LDN she actually remembered that I had gone to Little Rock on Monday. Before LDN she barely could remember who I was let alone remember where I had been. Before LDN she was mentally between the ages of 4 and 6 and now I'd say she's up to about a 9 or 10 year old mentally and she's only been on LDN since August of this year. She's going out in the yard and woking in the yard now and she hasn't done that in years. She says she feels better too. She now remembers her baby daughter who lives off in Ohio, she had forgotten who my aunt Doris was. We put my grandma on LDN for cancer and have gotten this improvement in her Alzheimer's. I was not expecting this much of a difference. She's on 4.5mg LDN with lactose filler compounded at Cantrell Drug Co. in Little Rock, Arkansas. Guest guest
that's great ... Do you or anyone else know of anyone on LDN for Autism. A friend of mine is about to start her son with Autism on LDN to see if it helps any. He is about 8 and will start on 3mg liquid. I remember a kid with Autism did try it using the patch so i am hoping it was the patch that failed. Autism seems to me like a bit of a long shot but given the potential benefits I agreed with my friend that LDN is definitely work a try. Any thoughts? Guest guest
Great results have been reported with autism, as it is also an autoimmune disease. There are lots of parents of autistic children who are trying it now, and my son will be one of them soon. I will keep you posted on his progress. He is mostly recovered already, though, so I don't expect super-dramatic results. Guest guest
Hi , My mother has Alzheimer's and I talked my dad into getting her LDN. She's been on it about 2 months now and at first it seemed to improve her memory and help her with sequence, like putting numbers in order or making coffee, but now it seems she is losing language again. I shared about your grandma with dad to encourage him. Is your grandmother doing anything else besides taking LDN? Thanks, Terria On Thu, 13 Oct 2005 18:16:39 -0000 "Bren" <TwisterAlley2@...> writes: My grandma's Alzheimer's is definitely improving on LDN. Guest guest
My grandma was put on Namenda a few years back but it did very little but she's still on it along with her LDN. Make sure your grandma takes a good B Complex Vitamin daily...we use Solaray brand with my grandma B Complex 100, makes the urine very yellow so don't panic. My grandma also drinks two 8 ounce glasses of Brownwood Acres Red Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate(type into search engine) per day...this is mainly for her cancer. Is your grandma on any other meds? Mine has to use high blood pressure meds so the DL-Phenylalanine cannot be used with my grandma. What dosage of LDN is your grandma taking and who is compounding it? ========== --- In low dose naltrexone , KELLY E COBURN <bonsai4jesus@j...> wrote: > > Hi , > > My mother has Alzheimer's and I talked my dad into getting her LDN. > She's been on it about 2 months now and at first it seemed to improve her > memory and help her with sequence, like putting numbers in order or > making coffee, but now it seems she is losing language again.
