If I go for any tests, I'd be making sure I'm still taking it, may even go up to 4.5 for a few days.

LDN is supposedly fast acting, could be all used up by 6am.

The way I see it, it's like using chewing gum to cover a faucet drip. It'll hold back the water for a few hours and then just dissolve and be gone.

If you're going to have to be on opiate derived meds for any length of time, then I'd discuss it thoroughly with the anastesiologist to decide what to do.

Otherwise, every 24 hours I'm taking an LDN.

[low dose naltrexone] How long does LDN last in your body?

Do I need to go off LDN for a day for a colonoscopy that will be at 2 in the afternoon? How long does LDN last in our bodies again? I've tried to find this on the LDN site but just can't. Seems to me I remember someone posting that it would be completely out of the body by morning but I haven't been able to find this.thanks!

I don't know what they will sedate you with...maybe Valium...it's been a real

long time since I had a colonoscopy done...early 1990's. If I know I am going

to be sedated or knocked out with an anesthetic on a certain date fora medical

procedure I usually skip my LDN dose the night before. If they take any

biopsies you want to be as out of it as much as possible. I can remember my

biopsy being taken and it wasn't fun at all and I had not ever heard of LDN back

then. They told me I wouldn't remember the biopsy...but I did and still do.
