Guest guest
I was told today that there is a blood test that can check to see if you have the MS gene and if you could possibly pass it on to your child.... I have 2 questions...Has anyone heard of this?? And I did not think that they have confirmed that MS is herditary?? I was also told that if you did not have the gene then it was possible that you did not even have MS. If this is true then why is there people here that have Lyme and not MS but did not find out until years later??? Can someone please help... I know that this was off topic but I know how helpful all you LDNers are! Thanks Jen D

Jen, They are currently perfecting a blood test to identify ms but it has nothing to do with identifying a gene yet. > And I did not think that they have confirmed that MS is herditary??
