Guest guest
Hi, I'm brand new to the list, so if I say something stupid, blame my newbie-ness! I think it could be related to the dose. Not enough or too much LDN can be like having nothing at all. 3mg for an adult would be below the recommended guidelines as far as I know. Did your doc recommend the decrease? Maybe s/he can up it again really gradually to see if you can decrease the spasticity while improving your other symptoms. Don't know about the DHEA. Three weeks on LDN and fely great for the first two days after I started taking it, but now it's as if I'm not taking anything at all? Most symptoms are back? Can anyone shed some light on this for me. I'm at 3mg down from 4.5 because I was a little more spastic when falling asleep. Also, has anyone heard of MS being treated with DHEA? Guest guest
3.0 or 4.5 are the two doses people use for MS. Maybe you picked up a bug and your body is busy fighting it, so your unhealed SX spots are pseudoflaring. Do you go to a chiropractor? I do, and when I feel out of sorts, they seem to help greatly. They reopen communication channels enough to get me back on track. Sorry to hear about your lull Elio, I hope it resolves soon. You could try 4.5 again, or maybe take it every other day.... 3.0, 4.5, 3.0, 4.5 ... No real formula for it, sorry. We're all on our own. Re: [low dose naltrexone] I don't get it???? Guest guest
Elio, I take 25mg DHEA & 30mg Pregnenolone every day. Have for 4 years. I believe that the anti-inflammatory properties have restored my vision and kept me from having another Optic Neuritis flare. It is NOT a miracle. It was slow to work. After 6 months I could see improvements. Now my vision is near normal. Marcie
Guest guest
After my bad experience with the generic naltrexone, I now have to take 5mgs of Bristol Myers Revia when before 4.5mgs worked just fine. I still sometimes feel the burn/throb in shins and pronounced numbness that wasn't there even with the crushed method I took before the liquid method of Revia. I was symptom free except tiny bit of numbness sometimes and other times I didn't even notice before the generic which screwed me up. Been back on Bristol Myers Revia from Mexico about 2 months now I think and I surely thought I'd go back to where I was before generic but I have not and makes me mad thinking about it. Before generic my one brain lesion was inactive on MRI and I have no clue now and not going to get another MRI anytime soon. The feeling in my shins hurts like hell too when it happens and before it wasn't this same type burn/throb with an intense throb but the pain I had was in feet/legs/hands/arms contantly and first week on crushed method of Revia from Mexico, all pain was gone so this is messed up and happened within first of the 3 weeks on generic naltrexone.
