Guest guest
Florida? The teenagers too loved the rides. I agree the art of make believe is great. The dragon rides are really hectic- but I liked Disney better. Malini From: mgims [mailto:mgims ] On Behalf Of Ashok Bhaskar Sent: 20 January 2011 18:12 To: mgims ; abhaskarmd@... Subject: Hogwartz As I wait in queue for one of the rides In Hogwartz Castle in Universal Studios I really wish that I was into his Harry Potter thing. It is really mesmerizing. I am sure the author is pleased. While in Europe you travel into past several centuries, here the Americans have perfected the art make-believe . It is such a joy that in a single theme park you travel through so many worlds. At the entrance we sat in a rikshaw, then walked through Dr Seuss's books, rushed through Greek gods to get here and am walking in line (estimated wait time is 45 min) . More in next after this motion simulator ride into the happening place in Harry Potter . Ashok 1984 Sent from my iPhone
Guest guest
I am so jealous that you are getting to enjoy all those wonderful rides, when we are all snowed in ! I am longing to go to the beach ! Enjoy the warm weather before you return to the snowy " fun " (and driving in the snow) in Chicago ! Guest guest
That's great Ashok. BTW shouldn't that be Hogwarts, if you are referring to Harry Potter's school, of course. Guest guest
That shows my lack of knowledge of the world of Harry Potter. It is Hogwarts. The recreation or rather creation of Harry Potter's world is very authentic . It is hard to believe that such a place doesn't exist in this world !!
