Guest guest
What's a Furcette? I can't find it anywhere, is that the spelling? Anyway, as long as it's not Opiate Based, you should be able to take it. [low dose naltrexone] med questions I just started LDN 2 days ago for fibromyalgia....Today---I have a severe headache (not unusual). My question is----Can I take a furcette, as I typically do, or a muscle relaxer?? I did not get enough info from my MD....Responses would REALLY be appreciated. Thank you,,,
Guest guest
Still can't find it anywhere. But ending in "cette" leads me to believe it's opiate based! That would be a No then. Do you have the papers that come with it? Read them, it'll say whether it's opiate based or not. If it says: Drug Class: OPIATE AGONISTS Then it's probably not a good idea to take it with LDN. Guest guest
Is this it? Search Results: Here is the result of your search for keyword(s): "FIORICET" FioricetĀ® Fioricet With CodeineĀ® If it's #1, it should be ok; if it's with codeine, then no. Some people don't bother to read the Further Q and A page and it has some useful info so read that part also. Bookmark the LDN site for future reference. The site tells you what type drugs cannot be taken with LDN. LDN website http://www.low dose naltrexone.org
Guest guest
Fioricet is used for migraines. The generic of this contains butalbital, which is a bartiturate. Guest guest
> > Thank You I will research that site further > Hi , From all the research I have done on LDN you take anything with it EXCEPT Opioid Pain Killers and the MS Injections. If you want to make sure call the Pharmacy that you got the LDN from. I made my own Website on MS & Transverse Myelitis and it has a lot of information on the LDN and links of information. www.crystalangel.org Check it out... Guest guest
My son was on Concerta for several months and he didn't have any of these problems. We did switch though because it made him feel like he was in a fog.-From: Sharon <simplycraftymom@...>Subject: ( ) Med questions" " < >Date: Saturday, November 13, 2010, 10:59 AM Hi my daughter who is 9 started on Concerta 36mg a month ago. After she started she got sick three days later and fever by the following day she was fine again and we continued with meds. No other problems for 3 weeks. Then we went back to doctor and she decided it should be raised due to focusing issues still at school and home. She started 56mg on Wed. with no problems til Thursday night when she complained of stomach pains. Friday she was okay with a slight fever and then she starts feeling bad toward dinner time and starts vomiting. She finally slept at like 10pm last night. She still has a fever today so I didn't give any meds to her. My question is anyone else have this issue with Concerta? My doctor said it was not med related but it seems like it is to me since she was fine up until I switched the dosage. Any insight would be great. Thanks.Sharon
