Hi Everyone,

I have a friend in Australia that's trying to get on the LDN and

wanted to know if anyone else here that is in Australia on the LDN and

how they had to go about getting it. Her Dr is supportive of putting

her on it but this is what she emailed me - (Have found out can't get

the low dose LDN here in Australia, so have to appeals to the

Theraputics Imports Body and have several GPs and specialist verify the

clinical justification for my importing this drug.

My GP is at least supportive and that is a start.) Does anyone know or

have any suggestions on what she can do or has to do to get it????

Please email me at CrystalAngel6267@... if you can help....

Thanks,

Crystal

Hi Crystal,

Your friend has certainly been given wrong info - LDN is readily

available here in Australia from any compounding pharmacy worth their

salt. A list of compounding pharmacies is on

http://www.pccarx.com.au/Pharmacy.htm

I recommend using The Green Dispensary in Adelaide no matter where your

friend lives. I get mine from there even though I am far away in

Melbourne. Their prices are by far the best I have found (less than half

the cost of the place I initially used), their service is excellent and

fast ($5 postage), they do a lot of LDN compounding, use naltrexone

powder and don't just crush the 50mg tablets (as the first place I used

did) and you can have the capsules made up in virtually any size you

want and with any filler (I use acidophilus).

See http://www.greendispensary.com/ and email there. He

and his staff are very helpful.

I will second this advice. The Green Dispensary is an excellent source

for all compounding pharmacy medicine. My specialist recommended them

and told me that tests done had shown that the active ingredients in

their products were superior to those of other compounding pharmacies

in Oz. I don't know what he based his statement on but he has no

connection with them at all.

Their mail order service, which I use, is very good too.

I haven't tried Naltrexone from them, or anyone else, as I am still

learning about it and hadn't heard of it till it was mentioned on

another group.

Regards,

Annie
