Guest guest
Hello Andy, If my son had the type of problem you described in your email I would confer with Dr. Bihari in New York, New York, as to the efficacy of LDN for this line of cancer. It is probable that LDN can be a valuable adjunct to any alternative treatment you decide on. LDN may be able to achieve a remission when used alone...but I would confer with those at the links below before making the momentous decision you are faced with making. www.ldninfo.org I would confer with Stanislaw Burzynski at the Burzynski Institute in Texas. He has had many successes treating brain tumors, particularly in children. His medicine is nontoxic. It's called Antineoplaston. www.cancermed.com Burzynski has a better track record healing brain cancers than anyone I'm aware of. The FDA over here tried to put him out of business, but Burzynski beat them in court. There is an FDA approved medicine that proved to be almost identical to the medicine Bruzynski himself discovered. Once this previously FDA approved medicine was discovered by Burzynski, he began prescribing it without concern for the FDA's vigilance. Is it possible that the medicine can be obtained where you are? This can be discussed when you contact the institute. They don't mind being pressed for information. You can see the FDA approved med at www.patient.co.uk/showdoc/30003801 You'll see what the original development of the drug was intended to treat. Please don't make a decision to avoid Burzynski based on what you read at the patient/showdoc link. I'm not saying this is the treatment he will recommend. After the initial visit to the Texas institute for a week or two, he sends his patients home with a supply of the drug and instructions to come back in a month or two. There could be other arrangements made to accomodate your circumstances. There is free air transport within the US. There are charitable organizations that arrange accomodations for patients who are involved with the institute, for extended periods (3 months or more). Next on the list is Larry, the proprietor of a very reputable online company that deals with a mineral therapy for all types of cancer and many other illnesses. CesiumEssense Larry encourages anyone to call him at his toll free telephone number for a consultation. He has worked with more cancer patients than anyone I know of using this alternative therapy (several thousand or so?). Larry's type of therapy is apparantly the most popular of all alternative therapies for seriously advanced cancer conditions. It's the best we know of, and it's faster than any other we know of. Side effects are tolerable, but not dangerous. I discovered Larry's web site while visiting www.cancertutor.com There's every reason to bookmark this great site. There's nothing for sale there, and the author is on a spiritual mission to help mankind overcome disease without the poison and radiation of conventional medicine. Even if you are referred to Larry's site while at cancertutor, there's still much to learn on cancertutor. Here's a site that offers non-narcotic relief for cancer related pain: CancerPain 11 From my limited research into LDN, I am leaning toward believing that LDN can be used concurrently with any other alternative therapy. In fact, I intend to use it myself along with Larry's mineral protocol...once I've satisfied myself that there are no known contraindications with any of the multiple ingredients in Larry's package. I've choosen to use Larry's Mineral Protocol as a primary treatment because I don't have enough proof yet that LDN can stop the progression of any particular ailment with the desired haste. Time is of the essense in your son's case and I personally would not risk using a promising but newly announced therapy...LDN...as the primary therapy. Further radiation or chemotherapy should be a repuslive thought at this point. I'd be boosting the immune system in every possible way. The cancer line you are dealing with is tough, but not unbeatable, by any means. The young are very resilient, they have that working for them. Best to you and yours.....West
Guest guest
Hello Andy, Any progress notes and updates you care to send will be appreciated...by me, and by everyone in this group. Whenever someone is sick there are many good people who will want to help any way they can. This seems especially true when a child is sick. Give us the name of your sick child and those who know the power of prayer will pray for him or her. Any information you discover in your research that may help your child's situation may also help us or others. I humbly accept your offer to share research discoveries with me, and this group. I'm extremely interested in the LDN therapy and how it can be used in conjunction with other therapies/protocols. Will LDN work synergistically with Cesium, for example? The LDN website mentions a number of Dr. Bihari's patients who are or were using LDN while also using other therapies/protocols. The details and progress notes from these patient's charts may provide important, perhaps critical, information to those of us who need to decide for or against any combinations of protocols that include LDN. I think the most knowledgeable contact for you for answers to LDN specifics will be . She has the best supply of LDN facts outside Dr. Bihari's data base. If there's an answer she doesn't have, she knows someone who can provide it. Any communications you feel are radically separated from LDN interests can be sent to my private email. Best regards Andy............West
