All the various remedies for vaginal dryness that I have seen discussed

here require a trip to the store. Are there any negatives associated with

the use of nature's free, effective, and readily available supplement to

cervical mucus and arousal fluid: saliva? It is available to all,

bringing us into solidarity (as does the act of sexual intercourse) with

the whole human family.

May God bless all.

Have they assessed nutritional help? Marilyn 's book " Fertility, Cycles, & Nutrition " pg.89

" ...particularly flax oil and vitamin A, if scant mucus is a problem. For postmenopausal women who

experience vaginal irritation due to dryness, vitamins A and E, zinc and selenium may also be helpful.

All of these are very healing to the vaginal membranes. "

Vaginal dryness

I know this has come up before, but I need some help...

I have a client who has been experiencing " extreme vaginal dryness " for the last 3 months. She also has been diagnosed with diabetes and pre metabolic syndrome- or maybe with metabolic syndrome.

She has tried KY Jelly and monostat- both over the counter obviously. Neither has helped.

Her doctor recommended the birth control pill. She wants to know all her options before she goes back to the doctor in 2 weeks.

I think the use of saliva might be a problem for some people because of the bacteria/organisms found in the mouth that are not usually present in the vaginal area.
