I knew that cat scratch fever was the culprit of my MS going from moderate MS to chronic progressive. The hospital wanted to lance both my armpits to drain infection out and pack and re-pack them daily. I had such a terrible case of the cat scratch fever. I said no to the lancing due to the fact I was in college at the time and needed to be in class. I was so sick even my teachers felt sorry for me and let me tape all my classes on cassette while I layed my head on my desk during class period. To this very day I am not fond of cats at all.
