This is a GREAT QUESTION. I have experienced various healing effects with

gemstones, too. You might want to read L. Oschman's ENERGY MEDICINE:

The Scientific Basis. This book answers your questions in ways that a short

email from me couldn't.

According to Oschman, author of ENERGY MEDICINE, you are not correct,

Manfred. Gemstones DO emit electromagnetic fields. There are probably other

fields as well, but there are definitely some wavelengths emitted that are

part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
