That's good to know. BTW, the Conditioning Emulsifier (behentrimonium methosulfate and cetearyl alcohol) will absolutely help with flyaway....but so will the varisoft as you know Sounds like you have some good ideas......your anti-frizz gel or serum sounds interesting! Guest guest
I have been playing with some from Degussa (their Abil series). I'm currently working on a hair conditioner utilizing Angie's Conditioning Emulsifier and ABIL® B 8852(PEG/PPG-4/12 Dimethicone). I took a sample formulation from Degussa's site and I'm adapting it using Angie's emul. instead of degussa's Varisofts (cetrimonium chloride, behentrimonium chloride) Although I will say degussa's Varisoft CRC is great in my current hair conditioner, but I think the addition of the silicone may help with my fly aways ). I've also tried ABIL® 350(dimethicone) in lotion and it's great, ABIL® OSW 5(Cyclopentasiloxane; Dimethiconol) - I'm working on an anti-frizz serum or gel with this I know I have a couple of Dow Corning silicones around, but haven't tried them out (can't remember which one's I have either!)
