,

Glad to hear you are doing well. Just make sure you aren't over-doing

it. Healing takes time and you have to give yourself time to get well

again. I've certainly learned that myself over the course of the past

7 weeks since my esophagectomy. On the other hand, I've also found

that sitting around too long isn't good for you either. I'm battling

that right now...I seem to be in a rut right now - I just can't seem

to find the motivation or purpose for anything.

On the other hand, congrats about your decision to go back to school -

that's awesome! I started going back for nursing a while ago, but with

my kids being so young (2 1/2 years and 4 1/2 years) I decided to

postpone for a while until they are older. It was just too much at the

time. School will always be there, the kids will only be this small

once.

I'm so glad you are feeling better!

Take care,

in NY

I know when I had my open myotomy I had the blues after a few

weeks. I was feeling better, but yet still couldn’t do a lot of stuff and

I felt held back. My doc gave me from last Friday til this next Monday and

actually I don’t go back to work til Thursday so I get 2 weeks before I go

back. So I should be good!!! You’ll get out of your funk, and you are

right, school will be there!!! I’m doing all of mine on line LMAO so I am

still gonna be able to stay at home!!!!
