Guest guest
Hi, I found a regular TENS unit - like the one my Physical Therapist used on me - on the internet for about $ 40.00. When I bought my two forearm crutches insurance only paid $ 8.00, so go tell. Sorry I don't have the web site right now but there are several vendors out there with the regular medical TENS for sale. PS I went to Mayo in Phoenix last winter and they were very helpfull. But my insurance decided not to pay because it's Mayo. Tomorrow I try a block by a new pain specialist, this one in Albuquerque. Remember I'm not a doctor it's just my opinion but i hope it helps. Bill in Gallup.
Guest guest
Extraneous Text deleted by Moderator --- Hi Maxine, Yes most insurances will pay for a tens unit. I got one back in 98 back when all my back problems started. It helped for a while but my condition was getting worse. My physical therapist had me get my family doctor to write a perscription for a tens unit. That's how I got my insurance to pay for it. If you don't have two insurances than you will have to pay some. Unless you have met your out of pocket for the year. I had two insurances when I got mine. But now I am just on my mom's since my dad lost his job. Be careful with the ones that you find on the internet unless your therapist told you about a website. Because some of them don't work as well, as the ones you would by in a medical store. Wish you all the best in getting help with your pain. If I can help anyone with questions feel free to write me. take care Holly UT.
