Hi everyone,

I'm from Chicago and am looking for a MD to write me a script for LDN.

I just completed 4 IV infusions of novantrone (chemo drug) to slow the

progression of MS. I am not going back to taking Rebif it does not

work. I'm going to see my neuro on Wednesday and see if he will write a

script. I'm not sure if he will, but I will be persistent. Just in

case he does not I will be looking. Thanks

BAH

Hi Beverly,

You might want to find out how much time you should wait between the Chemo

and starting LDN. It you would like a list of the protocols from Dr. Bihari

for LDN and MS, just let me know and I will send them.

Kindest of regards

Aletha

Hi Bren,

I'm Bev the person who was looking for a doc in Chicago. I called Dr. Bachman who is on the list of physicians for chgo area. He is a gastroenterologist at Northwestern and he is not prescribing LDN and won't. I spoke with his nurse Anita and she was frustrated because she has been getting calls about LDN. I told her I would give her message to my chat room buddies about this. So there you go. I'm glad we found out. Thanks again.

He has been removed from my list. I just included him last night on my list so

he hasn't been on there long at all. He must be on someone else's list for them

to get that many calls.

People, ask your physician's permission first before putting out in public that

they are LDN prescribing docs.

Thanks,

Hi Beverly,

I'm Debbie, and I live the western suburbs of Chicago. You may have

already found a doctor to write your script for LDN, but if not, this

may help. I have an internal medicine doctor in Chicago who wrote a

script for LDN for me. I just had a regular appointment with him,

during which I asked him if I could share his name with other MS'ers.

Of course he said yes.

His name is Edwin , M.D. He has two offices in Chicago. The

first, which is where I see him, is located at 7107 W Belmont Avenue,

#6, Chicago, IL 60634. The phone number for this office is: (773)

637-0166. His second office is located on North Michigan Avenue in

Chicago; I don't have any of the information for this office.

A few words about Dr. : He is an excellent doctor, very forward-

thinking and innovative. He holds the drug companies and the FDA in

very low regard, and is willing to try almost anything that makes

sense, like energy work, ancient remedies, etc. etc. His Belmont

Avenue office is pretty " bare bones " (not at all fancy), but he is

more thorough and accurate than any other doctor, in my opinion. I'm

sure he would want to see any patient before he would write a script

for them.

And, a few words about my condition, primarily relative to LDN. I

have Primary Progressive MS. None of the traditional drugs are

recommended for use for PPMS. Even the LDN website says that they

can't say if the LDN will help with PPMS. Well, let me tell you, the

improvement I have noticed over the past month, since I started taking

LDN, is truly remarkable. I had reached the point where I couldn't

climb stairs unassisted; someone had to stand behind me and lift and

bend each leg for each stair. Now I can almost bound up the stairs

without any assistance! Good luck to you!

Debbie
