Hi All

I talk about mercury harming the immune system.

My husband said that there has never been a study that shows the levels in the environment have harmed anyone. He said I'm not saying it's not toxic at very high levels, but he said he'd like to see an actual study that showed it was harmful to the human body.

Can anyone direct me to a study I can show him?

Thanks

Arlene

This is one for Bruce, I think. Considering that leftover amalgam is disposed of as hazardous waste, and mercury is one of, if not the, most toxic naturally occurring elements on earth, that's enough proof for me!

I'm with you, but my husband needs proof for everything.

Here are just a couple of the 221,000

reports out there.

If he wants scientific, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search & DB=pubmed

(This takes him to pubmed) Then type in the following querry “mercury

levels environment” You will pull up 556 medical/scientific reports

as of this morning.

If that is not sufficient, I will get you

a few hundred more.

Just for grins, go back to pubmed http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?CMD=search & DB=pubmed

and plug in “mercury amalgam fillings” and you will get

another 410 reports on the toxic levels of dental fillings.

I can find a few hundred more when he gets

tired of reading these. Just let me know.

I would write a report, but this is so far

off the wall, I could not believe it myself. If he wants something put

together, I suppose I could do it, I just never imagined anyone would need

proof if this.

Off to church and then back to

canning. In the middle of 8 bushels of tomatoes and 9 bushels of beets.
