My answer to rising sparrow follows:

Louise Hay has two books that address physical ailments, and I've tried them and they do work!!! The first book is called "Heal Your Body" by Louise Hay, and the other book is called "Heal Your Body A-Z" by Louise Hay. Try these and you should see some results.

However, I would like to add that in some cases, you should consult a doctor for treatment as well. It really depends on the case whether the affirmations will work, or whether it needs a medical consult. Thank you for the question! Hugs, PJ

I am new to this list and I have a number of questions I would like to have answered (if possible).I have been working with affirmations for some time now and I have found them to be a wonderful antidote to things like depression. However, I have had a long-term minor skin ailment. And affirmations seem to have absolutely no effect on it. For awhile I thought they had an effect, but a year later when I compared myself to my 'before' pictures I realised that I was simply deluded.Yet I am no longer depressed (and I suffered from depression for over 30 years) and no longer dispairing of life.It seems to me that anything that is more mental in its origins (such as depression, anxiety and stress which rely heavily on negative self-talk) are more treatable by affirmations and anything that is more physical is consequentially much more resilient.Does anyone on this list have any experiences of

long-term physical ailments being cured by affirmations? Or should I give up and embrace the pharmaceutical industry and just be happy that I no longer feel the need to self-medicate myself with alcohol.
