Guest guest
With the exception of Conroe YMCA if you can please respond to the following: 1) If you are a member of YMCA, does your location have a special needs program? Program meaning are you comfortable in taking your child there knowing that they will be properly looked after, etc. in a safe non-judging environment. a. If so, which location, is it general special needs (accommodating children in wheelchairs ex: do they have a lift to assist those into the pool?), specific to autistic children, etc. b. How is it set up? Just need the basics c. More questions to follow once I hear what they have. 2) If you are not a member..what would you look for out of your YMCA location to accommodate your child? I am helping in a brainstorming meeting w/ YMCA in hopes to get a program started for ALL special needs children in South Montgomery County. Any input would be great. Just keep in mind that all must start out small (but we can dream big!)..and that something is definitely better than what we have now!
