Subject: flair up and steroids and lots of ?'s

I moved to Buffalo from CHicago and experiencing a increase in

symptoms. I increased my doasage from 4mg to 6mg. How long should I

stay on that ? Secondy I just saw a new neuro and told him I was on

LDN but at the same time I had to tell him about all the burning and

tingling in my legs. He says I have a spinal lesion that is causing

that(I know that allready) and I should start IV steroids to get me

through this stressfull time. I told him LDN was not compatible and i

wanted to stay the course as I have for 9 months. I don't want to end

in a wheelchair. Im 36 and have 2 small children. I take my 4mg

capsule and dissolve in water 1 cup. I take 1/2 cup with another

capule that I mix in and store the other 1/2 in fridge. Also does

anybody know a Dr that would talk to my DR about ldn? I have not

called DR.Biharis office but I don't know what proffessional courtsys

Dr's give each other. It just seems that if my Dr was willing to learn

who would he talk to?. He also asked me for the minutes of the LDN

conference and if anybody has a written transcript I would be

interested in it to give it to my neuro. Sorry so long. Thanks Kim "

Hi Kim,

So sorry to hear that you are having flare ups. Could it be the move and all

the stress from that? I just wanted to mention that if your doctor wants to

discuss LDN with Dr. Bihari he should call the office as I have heard it

said that Dr. Bihari will never refuse calls from other doctors concerning

LDN. Not sure what Dr. Bihari's schedule is right now though since he went

into rehab a while back so you'll have to call and see about that.

Audio/video from the conference is right there on the www.ldninfo.org site.

I bet that if your doctor called Skips' pharmacy, Skip would be more then

happy to discuss LDN with him. Good luck to you and I sure do hope you like

your new home. JoyceF

Kim,

Try emptying your LDN capsules into a dry tablespoon and then getting a dropper

and dropping orange juice, water or tea in it...just enough liquid to dissove

the powder. You may be diluting it too much with the glass. Try 5.0mg as 6.0mg

may be too much...try 5.0mg first for 3 days then if you feel the need, go up to

6.0mg until your stress is gone then back down dosage. I had symptoms increase

earlier this year due to several deaths in my family but once the stress died

down so did the increase in symptoms. I just kept plugging along with my 4.5mg

and all turned out fine. LDN struggles against stress.
