Guest guest
I remember having spells like this but they eventually went away. That doesn't mean Phil's will. Did the doctor prescribe any antidepressants or tranquilizers? Doug > Hi guys! My husband, Phil, resumed his interferon treatment this > past Saturday. Guest guest
Nadine sorry you are having to live with this. Darlene Phil resumes treatment Hi guys! My husband, Phil, resumed his interferon treatment this past Saturday. The pulmonary doctor found only signs of emphesyzema (sorry - haven't memorized the spelling yet). He has forgotten two doses of the oral medicine, both of them 10 a.m. pills. His temper has come back full force. He can't manage to do anything, unless he wants to do it. That means I do everything that needs to be done around and in the house, on top of work and my on-line MBA program. Phil accuses me of wanting and needing to have the last word, and yelling, screaming, etc. It's hard not to just leave him. We have no family or support. Phil does not want to go to the support group 90 minutes away. My heart condition is acting up due to the stress, plus we are having 2 weeks of special training for when our business goes from the state to private companies. I try to remember he's sick, but sometimes I wish I could kill him (don't worry, I won't). Sometimes he states that he won't be around for much longer, that the Hep C will kill him soon, then he is pushing and fighting to start treatment again. Arrrrgh! Guest guest
No. Phil was only on the meds for two weeks when the shortness of breath happened and they took him off the meds. He hasn't slept in 48 hours. I asked him about could the doctor prescribe sleeping pills and he stated he didn't know. Since he is working 12 hours tomorrow without a phone, I will call the doctor and see. I hate to say it, but please don't send us individual emails. Phil read the last post Thursday morning and hit the roof. Take care. Thank you. Nadine > > Hi guys! My husband, Phil, resumed his interferon treatment this > > past Saturday.
