My son tends to be acidic than alkaline. Also, I used 1/8 cup or 1 oz of this stuff for my son`s constipation daily and it didn`t do diddly squat. So for him it wasn`t too much. I stopped using it, because even though I mixed with juice, the stuff tasted terrible and he wouldn`t drink it. I`ll have to look for the brand you mentioned. Thanks. Guest guest
I believe bicarbonate of soda is alkaline and added advantage is that its cheap. My son is now taking Lamictal. He is experiencing the irritating rash that is common with Lamictal. Can you tell me: Will it go away on it's own? Or, will he always have it as long as he is on this med? Has anyone had luck with any particular lotion, or cream to help it go away or reduce it? Thanks so much! .. ..>>>> PHONE THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY! THis rash is nothing to fool around with, it can lead to very dangerous complications. Hi, My 11 son had his first and only seizure we know of back in Early June. Since then he had been on three 100mg tablets of Tegretol a day. He also occasionally takes Allerga, usually on pill in the am. The issue here is side effects from the medication. Over the last few weeks to month, we have been noticing a increased frequency of Mikey having to go to the bathroom; he is " semi-bathroom " trained and usually wears a pull-up to bed. The school is noting this also, at least once to twice an hour. We have limited his fluid intake, but the urine output seems the same. He may be sneaking fluids behind our back, but I am still concerned. I would think the medications would decrease rather than increase urine output. This is a very uncomfortable & embarassing subject to bring up, but I am very concerned. Can certain medications even induce diabetic like symptoms? Thank you in advacne, Ellen .. .. >> Ellen Contact your doctor immediatley. mjh http://foxhillfarm.us/FireBasil/

Guest guest
Ellen, My daughter was doing that too, she was not on Tegreton, she was on Zonegran and she was going to the bathroom what seemed like every five minutes so I took her to the doc and they did urine test and it came back negative for kidney stones or infections, so the doc told me that it was just a habit. She finally stopped after a few weeks but I was concerned too. I'd call your doctor and let him/her know about it so that they can maybe run the same type of tests. Good Luck!
