Guest guest
Hi , It wasn't a typo. I did start at 25mg. I could only take it for 2 weeks because my head was buzzing real loud! I was in a major exaserbation and that is why I think it worked. I also took it in the morning so by night the naltrexone would be at a lower concentration. I have been on 4.5mg since Dec.28, 2003 (compounded). I was Having new symptom of ON in my right eye June 2005 and increased again to 25mg for 1 week and all symptoms of it went away. Then I went to liquid LDN and my head has been tingling daily. My balance is better and the ON in my left eye seems to be getting better. I now have double vision instead of just a big blur. I know it is against protocol but it works for exaserbations better than the Solumedrol IV and has less side effects (none). Kathy Is that 25mg a typo? The reason I'm asking is none of the doctors/scientists(Bihari/Zagon) who have been using LDN long-term(many years) in their research suggest using over 4.5mg, sometimes as much as 6.0mg(rare occasions)(Bihari)~~not over 10mg(Zagon) for cancer or autoimmune diseases. You might can use High Dose Naltrexone a VERY short period of time and possibly get away with it not making your disease worse but HDN(High Dose Naltrexone)--over 10mg long-term use would eventually start to work against your disease; this has already been proven in a clinical trial years ago. 25mg(High Dose Naltrexone) blocks endorphins way too long on cancer and autoimmune diseases and works just the opposite of what Low Dose Naltrexone does and will eventually make these diseases worse instead of better. For that High Dose Naltrexone clinical trial result contact The National MS Society. Hope all is well, Kathy __________________________________________________
