Hello, I check on this site almost daily and I don't see many posts

from people with Parkinson's. Briefly, I've been on 4.5mg LDN for the

past 14 months. My main symptom has been uni-lateral tremor which

developed over the past 3-4 years and became progressivly worse. At

first the doc's said it was MS but when I was put on 3x 25/100 Sinemet

and 0.5 Mirapex by 3rd neuro 11 months ago, the tremor went away and

it became apparent that I have Parkinson's. I have over the past

several months cut back on the Sinemet to 1x 25/100 day and I am still

doing well. I appear to be in the Sinemet " honeymoon " , it could last

for 2-5 years before Sinemet begins to not work well. Or, LDN could

keep me where I am now forever. So the problem with LDN and

Sinemet/Parkinson's is; how do you know if LDN stops progression if in

the short to mid term Sinemet has returned you to " normal " ?

I was hopeing that Dr. Bihari could provide more detailed information

on his Parkinson's patients and how he can be almost certain that LDN

has stopped their progression. Maybe in the next LDN webpage monthly

update?

Are there any members here with PD who have been on LDN for any length

of time and have an opinion if LDN is working as claimed?

I would also like to claim to be the first one to post (ashleyk) on

LDN in the Remedyfind Parkinson's (PD new to RF) section. Are there

others who can comment and get the ball rolling on LDN and PD at

Remedyfind?
