Guest guest
Hi , my mom has Parkinson's since 5/04. She is taking neither Sinemet or LDN. I have been searching this site for evidence that LDN is progressively working. I'll follow with interest any response you get from PD persons on LDN. The LDN PDers must be few in number. Sincerely, Terry

Sincerely, Terry Thanks Kathy! I am wondering how LDN works without the Sinemet. Has your husband had any side effects of the combined single dose Sinemet and LDN? Also, do you mind my asking your husband's age? I ask only to weigh any possible consequences of the drugs to my mom's age group. Once Again, Thanks, Terry

Personally if they are both working I would just count my blessings and stay on both. However if one of them is expensive or difficult to take, I would remove that one first off and see what happens. My mother has Parkinson's and she has been doing very well on the "push" drug. It is quite expensive, but has reversed most of her symptoms. I was talking to her yesterday and asked her if she was interested in trying LDN along side of it. She is thinking about it. Aletha Hi Aletha, I remember you mentioning that your mom was using the "push" drug. Can you let me know why you would consider LDN since she is doing well and has reversed most of her symptoms. Does she still have some symptoms to address? If so, could you specify which ones they are? I think I wrote you before and let you know that my mother would not be able to afford an expensive therapy. How expensive is the "push" drug? Also how old is your mother and does she live with someone? My mom is 76 and still lives on her own & is alone when she is not visiting/living with me. She is with me and my husband on alternate weeks. When she is home, I see her every other or every two days. She cannot cook well on her own. So her meals are provided to ensure good nutrition. Thanks for considering my questions. Sincerely, Terry
