Guest guest
-Rumi said that there are two kinds of intelligence...There are two kind of intelligence: One acquired,as a child in a school memorizes facts and conceptsfrom books and from what the teacher says, collecting information from the traditional sciencesas well as from the new sciences. With such intelligence you rise in the world. You get ranked ahead or behind othersin regard to your competence in retaininginformation. You stroll with this intelligencein and out of fields of knowledge, getting always moremarks on your preserving tablets. There is another kind of tablet, onealready completed and preserved inside you.A spring overflowing its springbox. A freshnessin the center of your chest. The other intelligencedoes not turn yellow or stagnate. It's fluid, and it doesn't move from inside to outsidethrough the conduits of plumbing learning. This second knowing is a fountainheadfrom within you, moving out....If it's any comfort at all, I've made similar 'mistakes,' plenty of times. When you think about what we're supposed to have always at our fingertips, well, it's pretty astounding! From what you've shared, it sounds like your patient's other physician had her heart-mind pretty well made up before you ever spoke. Getting the potency 'right' would not have changed that. Also, from what you've shared, it sounds as though your patient is going to get all she needs. Though the other physician holds different ideas, I'm sure she will be able to help your patient, too, only in different ways than you might have. These things always have a mysterious plan, which can only unfold perfectly.Cancer, it seems, is often a sacred journey, and your patient is on her Healing Path. You will continue to walk with her with the tools of acupuncture, for now, and who's to say what else down the road. Being with you in and of itself (I know.) will be Healing for her.May I join you in practicing letting go? I'm working on that one, too, as are so many of us humans. Let's practice together, shall we? Ya know, 'cause there's strength in numbers.Fondly, and with deep respect,Mark Bricca
